Account and login. When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address (used as your login identifier), and a password (stored using strong one-way hashing—we do not store your password in plain text).

Service usage. When you use our applications or API, we process data needed to deliver notifications, manage devices and applications, and operate your dashboard—such as device or client identifiers you choose, platform type, app versions where relevant, and message or delivery metadata associated with your account.

Communications. If you contact us by email or through support channels, we retain the content of those messages and your contact details as needed to respond and improve the Service.

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• Authenticate you and secure your account;
• Deliver push notifications and related features you configure;
• Analyze usage in aggregate to improve reliability and user experience;
• Send administrative notices about your account or the Service;
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, fraud, or illegal activity; and
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We may share information only as described below:

• Service providers. We use trusted vendors to host infrastructure, send email, process payments, deliver push notifications through platform providers (for example, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service), provide DNS and security, and perform similar functions. These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or government request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, safety, or security of PushNotifiMe, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy, where required by law.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it and close any associated accounts.

We use cookies and similar technologies where needed to maintain your session when you log in to the website, remember preferences (such as theme), and protect against abuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit sign-in or dashboard functionality.

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. Payment card data, if collected, is handled by PCI-compliant payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to safeguard data appropriately for the nature of the Service.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

Closing your account from the Service. Signed-in users may start account closure from the dashboard: Delete account. You can also request deletion by contacting us. We will verify your request where appropriate (for example, by asking you to confirm your password or sign-in).

What happens when your account is closed. We mark your account as closed in our systems (a “soft” delete): your session ends and you cannot sign in to that account again. If you later use PushNotifiMe, you will need to create a new account, register your devices again, and obtain a new subscriber user key. You must reconfigure any software, APIs, or integrations that relied on the previous key.

Retention after closure. To reduce spam, abuse, and account takeover risk, we retain closed account records in a deactivated state for 30 days before we permanently remove them from our active systems in the ordinary course. During that 30-day period, the same email address used for the closed account cannot be used to open a new PushNotifiMe account. Some data may persist longer where the law requires, for security or dispute resolution, or in encrypted backups that expire on a rolling schedule. Aggregated or de-identified data may also be retained where it no longer identifies you.

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps consistent with applicable law to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Service.
